1. How do I add an item to the City Council agenda?

3. Where can I get information about the history of Strawberry Point?

For information about Strawberry Point including our history, please visit our history page.

4. How do I see agendas and minutes prior to 2016?

Go to the upper right side of the home web page. Click on "Site Tools" and then "Documents." From there you can see agendas and minutes dating back to 2012.

5. Can I pay my utility bill over the phone?

At this time City Hall is unable to take payment over the phone because of security reasons. If you wish to be able to call in and make payment please fill out the "Credit Card Authorization Form" found under City Forms on the Services tab. This allows us to keep card information on file and then you are able to call in and authorize a payment with a chosen password.

6. What utilities does the City provide?

The City provides water, sewer, electric, garbage and recycling services.

7. When is garbage pickup if a holiday falls on the normal pickup day of Thursday?

If a holiday falls on Thursday garbage pickup will be on Saturday. Please note that Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are not considered holidays.

8. What do I have to do to sign up for utility services?

You need to stop by City Hall and fill out a utility application and put a $350 deposit down.

9. What happens to my $350 deposit?

If you are a home owner your $350 deposit gets applied to your account after a year of on time payments. If you are a renter, your deposit gets applied to your final bill and any remaining money will be refunded to you.

10. What are City Hall hours?

City Hall is open as follows:

Monday: 8AM-4PM

Tuesday: 8AM-4PM

Wednesday: Closed

Thursday: 8AM-4PM

Friday: 8AM-4PM

11. What are Public Works hours?

Public Works employees work Monday-Friday from 7AM to 3:00PM.

12. Does the City offer any energy rebates?

Yes, the City offers rebates on newly installed energy efficient appliances, air conditioners, and light bulbs. For a complete list contact City Hall or go under Forms on the Services tab and find the "Energy Rebate Form."
